At the 10th Foundry Industry Innovation & Development Forum, experts stressed that energy saving and carbon reduction are the key levers for the industry to meet its dual-carbon goals, with standards serving as the core tool for making decarbonization scientific and systematic. The State Council Information Office's white paper China's Actions on Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality also calls for sustained efforts to build green manufacturing benchmarks and upgrade key industries toward low-carbon development.

From electric furnace replacement and waste-heat recovery to eco-friendly coatings and cleaner production systems, a wave of energy-saving technologies is being adopted by foundry enterprises. The industry widely expects green transformation — together with a shift to higher value-added products — to eliminate outdated capacity and benefit leading precision casting companies with technology and capital advantages.
